My name is Perrin, I'm 26 and I'm a freelance cartographer published in National Geographic, Visual Capitalist, and more. I'm looking for cartographic commissions and projects, geographic illustrations, 3D renderings of space, GIS projects and field photography, another discipline that complements the previous ones and sublimates the sometimes abstract and aerial nature of maps.
On my website, I want to share with you a visual fusion of these disciplines, an alchemy of the elements of space, places, their imaginations and colours. It's my way of depicting the contemporary world, this modern world, in the light of the Anthropocene, world wide instant exchanges and mass consumption, illustrating it with modern and ancient tools, ancestral cartographic concepts but also adopting an innovative and creative approach that is precious to me.
My next projects are the creation of a modern portolan of Brittany, and a journey entitled "Terra Cognita" to an island that is already mapped from end to end, but which is unknown to me, in order to explore it and engage in re-mapping, starting from scratch.
Got an idea? Send me a message, let’s talk!
